Design and development of the strategy for a new Smart Tourism Destination

Technology is opening up enormous challenges and opportunities for tourism. Being able to capture these opportunities, whilst driving social and economic growth, was our top priority when conceiving this project.

The Beta factor has designed a Smart Tourism model that integrates different territories under one destination and brand, distributing and promoting them through a shared platform. The early involvement of the main stakeholders in the project allowed us to secure the commitment of the necessary public and private bodies, in addition to the support of the local community.

Throughout the conceptualization of the project we have worked with key partners who specialize in technology and marketing. They helped us conceive the new brand as well as the technologies and platforms upon which the project will be built and deployed.

Various destinations have shown their interest in the project and we are currently working to develop the model in other regions.
